Further Information and Maintenance: Whilst the chair is assembled the table will need some home assembly. Full instructions are provided. This Roble Set requires slightly different maintenance processes to keep it looking it’s best due to being made for different materials. The main body of the chair is made Sling which is a synthetic and highly flexible tensile polyethylene fibre. As well as being 100% recyclable, non toxic material, it’s also hard wearing and needs very little maintenance. Just a quick sponge over with some warm, soapy water when required.
The Roble wood on the table and chair frame will be delivered to you untreated. If left untreated, over time, as part of the natural weathering process, the wood surface will start to mellow to a silvery grey in colour. If this is a colour you desire, then just maintain if with a gentle clean. Otherwise apply some quality outdoor furniture oil to further boost the woods protection. To clean, use warm soapy water and a stiff brush, and brush in the direction of the grain. Once dry, lightly sand if necessary, then the oil can be applied using a clean cloth. Use a second clean cloth to remove any excess oil.
Alexander Rose recommend the use of a quality Hardwood Oil.
